This is my first purchased plate carrier. The army has issued me a few, and they were just too heavy, bulky and uncomfortable. This plate carrier is simple, light weight and gets the job done...but beware, new Velcro really REALLY gives you a fight

Quality Gear January 10, 2017

Was in the market for a new PC. SKD just put these up for sale. Not a lot of reviews on them. Have not field tested, but I would have to say on initial impressions this is good kit.

Wore the thing for around two hours with front and rear plate installed just to see how comfortable. Not bad at all.

There seems to be enough adjustment for a good fit, "like a glove" one would say. The stitching is great. Construction is great. Materials used are great. Plates don't shift. PC doesn't hinder movement.

Shout out to Konrad for the help on plate sizing.
