Introducing Blue Force Gear's Project Helium Whisper.  This patent pending load carriage system offers the lightest configuration in existence. Blue Force Gear has been continuously shaving ounces off legacy items and has come up with what they believe to be the lightest load carriage possible.  The secret to Blue Force Gear's patent pending technology is their one-piece back panels.  The material used to form their new MOLLE attachment system is a highly durable laminate that has been cut to exacting tolerances.  CAD programming and CNC laser cutting ensures tolerances to within a thousandth of an inch.

The Ten-Speed Mag Pouch™ works from the premise that a magazine pouch should have excellent, consistent retention without a lot of securing straps, lids, or flaps to get in the way of a smooth, consistent reload. When not in use, the pouch is designed to lay flat against your vest or carrier so that it is completely discrete and unobtrusive. Primarily intended for personnel performing fast, short duration operations where speed and a low profile are paramount. Due to the use of high performance materials, the Ten Speed Pouch is also extremely lightweight registering less than 1.5 ounces on the scale. Not limited to magazines, it will also securely hold some types of Flash Bangs, Strobes, Lights, etc. Attaching to any MOLLE/PALS surface, its use is only limited by your imagination. Light, small.  Just got it, but seems like it will be durable enough.

Difficult to get mags in, but they pull out just fine.  

The Coyote is more of a Flat Dark Earth.

This thing is incredible. The elastic on this pouch is very tight which means that your magazines will have excellent retention (while still being able to draw quickly) and also that the pouch will lay flat when empty. Every piece of kit and every MOLLE equipped pack you own deserves one of these so you always have the option of carrying around a few extra mags. The ten speed line is the only one like it and I cant wait to see more products from it.

I am a big fan of these pouches.  They make a very effective quick-retrieval pouch, I have actually replaced my fast-mags with these for speed reloads because of how they flatten when empty which is invaluable in the way I use it.  To compare the two, the fast-mag has better retention when upside-down, which except for a very small margin of operations would not matter.  these on the other hand not only provide a similar level of retention, but also a smoother draw as well as less weight and a slimmer profile.

I bought this to add more ammo to my plate carrier without adding bulk. It certain achieved that goal. It definately hold my mags in place

10-Speed triple mag pouch May 4, 2012

If you want a solid no frills mag carrier, the 10 speed line is darn near perfect.  No bungees or straps to get in the way or fumble with, and they offer amazing retention.  Just one caveat.  Throw out any hopes of putting mags back in one handed. Not going to happen, but that's why they make dump pouches.(May be easier with USGI mags.)

Can't comment on long term durability, but from initial inspection, they look like they will do what I need, for as long as I need em.  The retention really is amazing.  Held my vest upside down with 6 loaded mags and not one budged.  No chance in these popping out while moving.  Drawing from the pouch is smooth and easy enough.  I notice Lancer mags are a wee bit bigger and they tend to have a bit more drag, but still no problem.

Get it, try it, love it.    

Looking forward to more in the 10-speed line.
