This plate carrier is actually very well made. However, some problems (or rather uncomfortableness) that I've experienced were the shoulder straps and the way Velcro the holds the plates in the vest sometimes sag.
As plates and miscellaneous gear are added onto the vest, the weights begin to really eat at your shoulders due to lack of padding. I highly recommend buying some shoulder pads for this plate carrier. I've inserted two SAPI plates and a Pantac MBSS onto my back, and the weight really started to eat at my shoulders from the straps. This bothered me, and I'm a pretty darn strong guy. In addition to that, once the plates were inserted, from time to time, for example after running or walking around a lot, the plates started sag down. I like to run my plates all the way up against the plate pillow, but after a while, the Velcro begins to slide down and give away, making the plates sag and having a floppy upper part of the plate carrier where the plate pillow is.
