Blue Force Gear SPLITminus Chest Rig

SPLITminus is the next evolution in MOLLEminus technology – utilizing voids and slots cut out of one piece of ULTRAcomp instead of layers of sewn nylon to mount MOLLE pouches. The SPLITminus is the lightest, thinnest fully MOLLE compatible split front chest rig available. Two Fastex buckles enable the SPLITminus to be put on or removed in seconds while still being fully adjustable for use over armor or in cold weather. The mesh lined shoulder straps are removable, fully MOLLE compatible, and can be used to route communication wires, antennas, or hydration tubes.

Each side has MOLLE fields of 6 columns by 3 rows. Currently in Multicam only.

My district is semi-rural and I often times find myself well off the normally traveled path.

I carry a plate carrier and plates for gun calls/active shooter. It is minimalist compared to most others but still weights about 40lbs.

I bought the SPLITminus to fit the niche of rural operations, where weight is a factor (long hikes/hills). It is build solidly and it ultra light.

I set both rigs up with the same pouch configuration (all BFG Ten-Speed and ATS). I am satisfied with everything BFG makes. BFG and SKD are both major assets to the LE/Mil community. Buy with confidence!
