Bobro Standard Vertical Grip

The FGA-1 SACL portion is machined from a polymer (Delrin). The fasteners and index pin are phosphated to Mil Spec STD 171. The FGA-1 was not designed for the waterproof storage of articles, but items can be stowed inside the central core. The FGA-1's primary mission is to be used as a front grip, and not to store batteries etc. The FGA-1 was designed for rapid on/off with a solid interface that could withstand the massive heat generated by modern small arms. The aluminum rail interface eliminates the compression set and subsequent loosening problems associated with a plastic coupling. The FGA is not rail sensitive, meaning that the FGA-1 can be installed on any rail within specification (Mil-Std 1913).

I have been an owner of a Bobro vertical fore grip (VFG) for the past three years.  It has "lived" on my Bushmaster carbine for those years and has seen the "pounding" of several thousand of .223 and 5.56mm rounds with no problems.  It has not shot itself loose or even damage the rails the VFG is attached to despite my oftentimes ham-fisted grip applied to it.  Detaching it from the rails as needed has never been a problem, nor reattaching it.  Lastly, I find it easier to attach or remove from the rails unlike the earlier generation VFGs like the first Tango Downs.
