If you think of the classic style 3 day assault pack, in which you have one large compartment, then a couple of smaller compartments, you can then consider this a 3 day assault pack. But the Camelbak Motherlode 500 is more than that, with modern fabrics, materials and a much more comfortable suspension system. The 500D Cordura makes the pack lighter and less stiff than other packs. Also the MOLLE placement is very generous and will allow you to attach pouches at your heart's content. And the internal organization of the pack in the front area, the mesh pocket in the main compartment, a dedicated fleeced lined top-pouch and the included 100oz hydration bladder makes this pack a much better 3 day assault pack than many other backpacks in the market. Plus the very comfy suspension system, well padded back and shoulders will make carrying heavy loads a much easier task through out your day. If you want this pack, don't hesitate to get your own!
