Daniel Defense EZ CAR QD Swivel Attachment Point (2 Position)

The CAR EZ Mount attaches quickly to any AR15/M4 with a collapsible buttstock.

It is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and has a type 3 mil-spec hard coat anodize finish. It also features a heavy duty Uncle Mike’s pushbutton QD swivel* attachment that allows for ambidextrous functionality. The QD swivel can be swapped from left to right with the push of a button.

Materials & Construction

Precision CNC machined from a block of 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat type 3 mil-spec anodized black for a rock hard lasting finish while weighing in at a mere 2.5 ozs.

Installation

Installation is quick and easy and requires no modification or disassembly of your weapon. It is installed by bolting the two halves around the buffer tube and securing with the provided screws. Installs in seconds with a common allen wrench.

Note: To prevent spin, a roll pin is included in the lower half that fits into the groove of most mil-spec tubes. If your buffer tube does not have this groove, simply pull the roll pin out of the lower unit.

great sling attachment , sturdy and eliminates having to remove butt stock to install. I now have the capabality to use single or double attachment.
btw you web site is very easy for us old guys to navigate.

Dear Customer,
We contacted DD regarding this issue, and they informed us that some defective mounts shipped out.  These mounts ARE designed to work with standard Heavy QD Swivels.  If you received a defective mount, please contact DD's customer service department directly (Jeff Stinson, 912-851-3287, jstinson@danieldefense.com) and they assured us that they will take care of you.  


The attachment uses a proprietary quick release swivel that does not work with standard quick release swivels.  Do not buy if you want to interchange. Not happy with the purchase at all. The description does not make this clear.

This is yet another great product by Daniel Defense. I love the push button design attachment for slings, and this is just perfect for that. It's not bulky or heavy at all. It is completely idiot proof, anyone can install this piece. It took me around a minute to mount it, tighten everything down, and test it. It's ambidextrous which is a huge bonus for a lot of guys. I can flip my rifle to whichever side I need it to be on within seconds. Thumbs up to you guys at Daniel Defense.
