Daniel Defense Rail-Mount Fixed Front Sight

The lightweight, streamlined design makes it unobtrusive and snag-free. The one piece design makes it easy to install on any MIL-STD-1913 rail and it secures with a slotted fastener threaded into a self-locking stainless steel thread insert. Special attention was paid to facilitate the use of compact weapon-lights forward of the sight, such as the X300, TLR-1, etc. The concave radius on either side of the sight is a great place to rest your thumb for easy, ambidextrous activation of the light.

Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and military specification hard anodized, our Rail-Mount Fixed Front Sight is both lightweight and durable and is the perfect complement to our A1.5 Fixed Rear Sight.

Lighter in weight than I expected.  Well built structure.  Installs easily.  The cuts on the back of the unit to break up any glare work great.  Works well with my weaver fixed rear sight.

As with all DD products it is simple and very well made. DD seems to have changed their finish on their newer sights. It is much darker and has a flatter finish (of which I like) than a previous model I had a couple of years ago.

Installed as easy as it looks, holds up great. Took it to the range the first day i had it. Took 5 shots to zero in. All in all great sight for the price. BTW this sight replaced my magpul BUIS. ALot better!! Stick with DandD for quality.
