This may well be the finest variation on the foldable dump pouch- the 1" webbing pull strap allows for instant deployment from the storage position with a firm pull. Also features velcro closure along the top lip for a hasty closure by slapping the pouch shut. When not in use, it folds up into a small and nearly unnoticeable square that is ready for instant deployment.

Gen II upgrades introduced by PIG include: 500D construction for lighter weight and a more compact footprint, no box stitch on the flap for improved cosmetics, and grommet for drainage. The Gen II Loppy quite simply represents the best fold-up Dump Pouch available today!

This pouch is a great product. Lightweight, durable, and extremely compact.  Great for a back up dump pouch or a primary for your "green side" rig.

Loppy Dump Pouch January 13, 2012

Stitching and construction of this dump pouch is quality, as was expected. The folded size of this pouch saves plenty of room on your war belt, and makes it a perfect SECONDARY drop pouch for sensitive items. However, as the pouch is smaller than any of the other pouches sold on this site and lacks any sort of integral rigidity, it can only hastily be loaded with four or five 30rd M4 magazines. On top of this, it has a tendency of closing up on you: i.e. the velcro/hook-and-loop that closes the opening up tends to grab onto itself until you have dropped a few mags in. This made hasty mag dumps a pain when there wasn't already something in it. I carry the Loppy folded, on my war belt, as a backup to my primary dump pouch.

Super low profile and easy to open. Keeps my the APC snag free and slick until I need it and I can rip it open. It's a gtg out of the way piece. Two thumbs up

I love this pouch, which has found a permanent home on the belt of my assault pack. The 500D is strong and light, and the strap system for mounting is really nice as well - tucked away under the bottom row of pals webbing so that there is nothing hanging off the belt to snag on. The pouch folds up nice and small, and the low profile allows me to practically forget about it until there is a need to deploy it. I find that I use it for so much more than just spent magazines, that it really is a perfect general purpose pouch.

Overall a good addition to kit.  Fits a basic load of 5.56 mags well, but a little small for a full combat load.  Folded size is nice, worn on IOTV and out of the way until needed.
