Does not fit an Eagle A-III April 30, 2012

I managed to fit one of these on one shoulder strap with quite a struggle, the other would not go around the other shoulder strap at all.  In retrospect, you don't need these (not that they fit), you have a sternum strap, fasten it and the straps will stay on your shoulders.  If these did fit the design would be such that they would block the attachment D -rings anyway so they reduce the utility of your pack.

This item is not compatible with the Eagle A-III Pack I received.  It is too thin to fit over the shoulder straps.

Straps serve their intended purpose well. Grip is way better than bare cordura. A good tight fit ensures little movement.

Great addition to any pack June 30, 2011

I purchased these to be used in conjunction with a tactical tailor 3 day assault pack. They perform great as expected. The only reason that I did not rate it as 5 stars is that it is a VERY tight fit around my shoulder straps. Once I got them on, it seems like they may have stretched a bit and I have not had any issues with slipping or bunching. Unlike a previous review, I did not have any issues with my sterum strap being in the way. All around very good piece of kit!
