Eagle AK rig in Coyote June 14, 2011

SKD provided yet another wonderful Eagle Industries product. I picked this up recently (Noting that I didnt have any form of AK rig to begin with) and I love it. Its very simple and straight forward. 6 Ak mags plus the capability of running an IFAK or Blowout kit and an Admin pouch is all one could need on a quick go rig.

Only drawback ive encountered is that the Mag pouch size and shape could be better contoured to the shape and design of an AK mag. it seems more to the shape and design of an M4 mag with a slightly larger flap. Mags fit but snug and the flap lid just fits over.

Over all this rig works and works well especially when broken in.

Again, another highly recommended piece of eagle Industries gear.

I bought this expecting it to be made in America like my other Eagle stuff, but this was made in the Dominican Republic.

If I'd known that, I'd have paid a little more for a Tactical Tailor rig. Yes, being made in America is worth two stars to me.

That said, it still seems to be good quality and seems like it will hold together well, and the price is decent. The stitching is close enough to my American-made Eagle stuff.

Fortunately I won't actually have to test its limits like some soldiers or LE who may order an Eagle product expecting something US-made. If you're a weekend warrior this should hold up just fine.

This is one of the best AK chest rigs I have seen. The cordura nylon is very rigid and will hold up under the worst abuse. 6 mags is the perfect amount for a chest rig of this size. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and could be warn all day. This rig can be sized to almost all who wear it. Im 6 foot 175 and it fits perfectly. I know it can be adjusted down to fit 5'7 130 and it could easily go up to a 250lb guy. GREAT product skdtactical!

Good Product, Good Price, Great Service July 15, 2010

I put this item on my watch list since it was out of stock for what seemed like forever.  As soon as it was back in, SKD's email notification hit my inbox, and it was ordered.  Ship was spot on, and it hit my door step in 3 days.  

I loaded it up with 6 waffle mags that night, threw it on, cinched it up, and it was good to go.  No mag rattle, well stitched, and definitely well made as I'd expect from Eagle.  Only draw backs are that it's a bit heavy fully loaded out with steel mags, but considering I plan on using this primarily to get to and from the range, do some drills and classes with, I'll live with the lack of shoulder padding.  Plenty of webbing to attach pistol mags and other gadgets, and I'll be happy to leave this for a quick grab if I ever have to use it in a civil unrest / home defense situation.

Very adjustable it holds 6 AK47 30 round magazines. I would say it is one of the best rigs for an AK rifle.
