Great Shoulder pads! May 19, 2012

I use the straps on the Eagle plate carrier and they're great. They help the Carrier ride a little higher so it's off your hips and keep it from digging into your collar bone. I would recommend them to anyone looking to add padding to their vest/plate carrier. They can wrap around straps that are about an inch to an inch and a half in width, so if yours are bigger than that you may want to look into other shoulder pads.

One thing I have a hard time finding are reasonable shoulder pads for the eagle plate carriers. I liked the ones that came on my CIRAS, and decided to try them out on the plate carrier. Perfect. Excellent price too!

The  Eagle CIRAS Velcro Removable Shoulder Pads can be used on nearly any armor vest, plate carrier or chest rig thanks to how they attach - you simply wrap them around the shoulder area of the vest and hold them in place with hook and loop.

I originally purchased a set for use with my Eagle Plate Carrier with Cummerbund - though it made wearing the vest fully loaded a bit more comfortable, the padding was very rigid and took a long time before it conformed to my shoulders.

Like everything else put out by Eagle, they are solidly constructed and a good addition to any vest to make it more comfortable to the wearer, and well worth the price SKD has them available for.
