Eagle Low Vis Armor Carrier (LVAC)

This Low Visibility Armor Carrier was developed for a special unit that needed BALCS cut armor to wear under an outer shirt when operating discreetly. The carrier will hold BALCS and plates, but has no provisions for pouches or attachments. Outer cover is made from 500D Cordura, and inner is made with an anti-microbial material. Provides a great armor platform to wear a chest rig over. (Does not fit Paraclete RAV armor inserts).

Highly recommended plate and soft armor carrier June 18, 2011

I wore the Eagle LVAC for a seven month combat deployment to Afghanistan where I participated in 50+ foot patrols and almost as many fire fights. I wore it under an H-harness style shooter's kit which afforded me the ability to drop my kit while still having an appropriate level of PPE. The design of the system with it's interior plate pockets allowed it to be streamlined enough to easily slide my kit on and off as well as climb ladders, crawl through small Afghan doors, and spend hours in a tight sand bag fighting position with relative comfort and protection.

Now that I'm back in the states I still wear it all the time for ranges and riding in military vehicles, both with and with out the plates. When you take the plates out it is still an excellent soft armor carrier. I've recommended it to everyone in my platoon and the guys who have bought it love it. I would recommend the LVAC to any shooter who wants a light weight armor system separate from his shooter's kit.

Do not be swayed away from the LVAC as an option because it appears so plain. With armor and plates the LVAC is very light, very flexible, very comfortable and can be worn under a vest, shirt, chest rig, with ease.
The 500D is great!

Sometimes we pass over simple for complex and the latest and greatest.
Get the LVAC, enjoy simple again.
