Eagle's MOLLE Style Padded Belt (PMB-MS) is designed for carrying heavy loads and comes with two rows of PALs webbing for attaching essential gear.

Nice carry system January 7, 2012

I just bought this, so there has not been enough time to evaluate durability, but it seems well made.

The fit/comfort is surprisingly good and the attached items (I put on one 'FB' single pouch at each end and a double pouch on the left rear) do not seem to cause any flop.

I would recommend this, especially if it holds up to long term use.

I like this setup for carrying the necessary pouches. It is well padded and well made. Much better than the Condor one I had previously. Well worth the extra - $.

Patroling the Green zone in Helmand! July 1, 2010

Why is this belt special when it comes too patroling on foot? Well I spend 6 month in Helmandprovince Afghanistan as an infantry man, and everyone on the ground i Helmand knows that its all about walking long distances, with 50-60 pounds of gear, though the mud, ditches and bush! The eagle padded belt is great because it can take most of the weight from the shoulders and back, down to the waist, meaning that you can carrie more, you feel more mobile, you avoid backinjuries and its not in the way when carring the big patrol rucksack you normally bring along.  In the field it very easy to take off and on, meaning its easier to get too your personel IFAK, nightvision and ekstra kit. The best way is to combine it with some sort of chestrig or platecarrier, but the main focus is still too take the weight of the shoulders and back. All in all; a must buy for the infantryman patroling on foot.

Comfortable, Versatile December 28, 2009

I needed a MOLLE setup that would be grab-and-go, easy to get in and out of and not hinder my mobility in any way. This was it. It gets heavy rather quickly when you add mag pouches with loaded mags, and tends to drag down your pants when running, but Eagle took that unavoidable problem into consideration and included suspender loops. Fortunately, the padding aids in weight distribution and as such the belt, fully loaded, is not uncomfortable to wear for extended periods.

I have only one real gripe:

There's no way to get under the belt's padding to the belt itself, so if you want to attach a drop-leg holster, it has to be looped around all the padding. This makes for a somewhat "squishy" interface, and you lose some MOLLE real estate in the process. This problem could be mitigated with some sort of MOLLE-attached drop-leg platform (I'm not aware if they exist or not).

I'm very happy, as usual, with the quality of Eagle's product, and I would buy it again.
