An excellent upgrade from Eagle's standard Plate Carrier (PC-MS), the Plate Carrier with Cummerbund (PC-W/C-MS) offers a more secure fit with the addition of an external cummerbund that offers a more stable MOLLE platform. The cummerbund is fully adjustable and can be easily removed if not needed.

Excellent value and performance February 23, 2012

Not much to say that hasn't already been said about this rig, but I could reiterate. Solid quality and construction as expected from Eagle. The value as well is hard to beat. SKD got the carrier to me in 3 days(ordered Mon, got it Wed), and their customer service was expedient and helpful as always(I had to exchange one for a bigger size). The only con I could agree with is that the shoulder straps are a little small, and I'm going to have to order the HSGI shoulder pads for it. Highly recommend it though, great bang for your buck. Thanks to SKD, you'll be getting orders from me in the future.

when I got the eagle plate carrier I noticed that the stitching was top notch. My one big concern before ordering the plate carrier was if it would fit me. I am 5'8 and 155 pounds but it fit great. I did cut out the buckles that were sewn into the sides only because they hurt my sides and i will never wear the plate carrier without the cummerbund other than that the plate carrier with cummerbund is great.

I have been using the  Eagle Ind. Plate Carrier in Multicam for a year now, with the last six months of use in Afghanistan.  With this setup, I use PACA Soft Armor, as well as issued ESAPI plates.  With that said, this setup has become heavy during long patrols, but has held up GREAT!  To mitigate the weight on the shoulders, I purchased additional shoulder pads, to widen them and better disperse the weight.  

Eagle makes a SOLID product, but with any product it may require modifications in order to perform in the manner that suits the end user.  For use of the issued side plates, it was needed to widen the pockets on the cummerbund for them to fit.  

Pros:
-Solid Product
-Great Warranty
-1000D Nylon is as good as it gets.
-Made in the USA!

Cons:
-Required modification for side plates
-Additional shoulder pads needed, as the straps are thin and narrow

I would definitely recommend this plate carrier to anyone heading over to send the Taliban to meet Elvis and TuPac.

The Eagle Plate Carrier + Cummerbund is an outstanding piece of gear. I own two of these, one in Coyote Tan and one in Ranger Green. I use this PC for range work and for my job. It holds all the pouches I need. It is very comfortable to wear for long periods.

I have owned three of these (keep wanting to try different carriers) But in the end I always resort back to the trusty Eagle PC. Ive owned HSGI, CIRAS, etc. but always keep coming back!

A lot of real estate, if there was adequate space, Eagle put MOLLE (unlike some of their competitors) Excellent construction all around with reinforcements on stress points.

The only thing that really came as a shocker to me with my most recent Eagle PC (purchased Jan/11) was that their made in the Dominican Republic now. Unlike their older models which were made in the US. (Reason for 4 stars)

The good thing is that even though its outsourced now, its still extremely well made and stitching is nearly identical to the US made ones.
