Needed a pouch for my Vortex Solo Monocular.  Read about a guy on Lightfighter using an HSGI Smoke Pouch so I ordered one of those and, on a whim,  picked this one up at the same time since HSGI was an unknown quantity (to me). I figgured I'd just use whichever I liked better.  Glad I did!  The HSGI is "okay" but next to the Eagle it just isn't as nice IMHO. I'm gonna be bummed when the last of the US-Made Eagle gear is gone... :(

Hard to find a smoke grenade pouch that doesn't have those very annoying plastic buckles and cinch straps on the outside.  White HC US style smoke fits well, the Canadian style screw top smokes are a little tight.  The pouch itself fits a bit low compared to a mag pouch...that's why I took off 1 start.  Other than that, excellent.
