Fastest access to spare magazines! |

I used this Eagle M4 3 mag FB LE chest rig for a recent Carbine Operator's Course. Eagle is a top tier company that makes high end rigs. The 3 FB holders of this model are the fastest (and yet very secure) way to access AR magazines. Even PT exercises on the shooting line as punishment for misses (jumping, squatting, lunging, etc.), did not cause magazines to shift.
What I liked best about the FB holders is that it was fast BOTH in the removal AND in the insertion of the magazine. Other mag holders may require two hands to insert the magazine which is a pain considering how often one must shuffle, insert, and remove magazines from the holders.
With the modified navy qual test that requires two mag changes, the two of us in class who had this same FB rig were just that split second faster not having to deal with a velcro flap closure.
I found that the double (i.e., side by side style) AR mag pouches were often slightly too wide for the MOLLE section on the sides.
