Emdom Strobe Light Pouch

The Emdom USA Strobe pouch is a modern redesign of the classic SDU-5E strobe pouch. We started by ditching the weak pack cloth for heavy duty Cordura nylon, and adding MALICE clips for the ultimate versatility in attachment options.

On the front and sides are 2 rows of webbing bars that can provide a mounting point for additional pouches or to clip on gear. The top center bar has loop velcro which can be used to mount an ID device such as reflective or IR tape, and also serves to mate with the hook velcro at the top of the lid to keep the pouch open for use. The top of the pouch has 2 grommets which the strobe can be used through to limit your visibility around hostile forces and closes with a snap. A bartacked pull tab ensures quick and easy access to the contents under stress.

On the inside you will find a strip of loop velcro running the length of the front center of the pouch to secure your strobe inside, you can also place an ID square at the top of the strip which will show when you secure the lid in the open position. There is a grommet on the floor of the pouch for drainage.

* Each pouch requires 2 short MALICE Clips (not included), allowing attachment MALICE / PALS / ALICE system, belt or webbing up to 3" wide. Backed by Emdom's lifetime warranty.

Hanging onto this one October 7, 2015

Sadly, the item I was expecting to put in here, a monocular, was too large. That said, I'm hanging onto this one because I suspect it'll be useful for something else at some point.

i used one for four years and it served well (better than the old pack cloth pouches the strobes get issued with) i gave mine away to a close friend before his last deployment, then decided i wanted another!
