The pouches are well constructed. However, they are also too deep for me to have a positive grip on my SCAR-H magazine. Adjusting the inserts (wether it be the KYWI wedge inserts or the stock bungee retention it comes with) helps adjust how much the magazine sticks out of the pouch. However, you're left with the bottom of the pouches being limp. Personally, I find the pouches too deep for my liking. Also, the long MALICE clips that attach the pouch are too long making the rig look untidy. Instead of 5 columns of pals, I would have preferred it to have been 4. Unfortunately, MALICE clips only come in two sizes (Short, and too long). I'm guessing ESSTAC decided to do 5 columns deep so the (too) long MALICE clips can be used with it. The combination of the MALICE clips, 5 column pouches, and the wedge for the 762 setup is untidy for my liking. Construction is pretty good but the combination of it is untidy.
