Esstac M4 Triple Wedge Mag Pouch

The Esstac M4 wedge series pouch is the most innovative single M4 pouch available anywhere. The quick-draw bungee system is both adjustable and removable for a quick unfettered emergency reload. The harness in which the magazine rides is completely removable from the outer pouch, giving it unprecedented adjustability. By simply manipulating the depth of the magazine harness you can create a pouch that retains in any situation, to a pouch that exposes enough magazine for a new speed record on your emergency reload. Now a single pouch allows you options for complete retention, complete speed, and everywhere in between. As with all Esstac gear, the construction on this pouch is bomb-proof.

High Speed-Low Drag! January 14, 2012

This is one piece of sierra hotel gear!  With 100% multicam on the outside (like it should) and adjustable bungee cord retention.  I have g.i. issued metal 30 round mags.  They were definitely secure in this.  I would try to avoid using them in bungee secured pouches or you can buy replacement bungee cord.  The bottom of the metal mags will cut the hell out of them.   I"m looking at getting some Magpul love so I won't be dealing with the bungee cord trauma anymore.  You can use a ruler to disengage the velcro inside the pouch to move the bungee cord lower (for longer mags) or higher.  It does take a little work to break in the bungee but, that's okay.  Everything about this item is top notch!  Very low profile and can fit anywhere ya can think of.  The molle webbing in the back is a bit tight but, with time it will be perfect.

Great Ammo Pouch July 3, 2011

All around great pouch. After a three day shooting trial (where I was testing out the kydex inserts) full of running, rolling, diving, sliding, sprawling out prone, and almost every other crazy movement one can think of. My pouches remained in great condition. Bungee held strong, stiching was spot on, just alittle dirty (as it should).

My only problem with the pouch (and the reason why I gave it a 4) was on the back of the pouch where you attach the malice straps. There was nothing actually keeping the malice strap in place so it has a tendancy to slide abit on my gear. Not to horrible just a pain at times. This could be a simple fix by running a seam of thread down the back.

Otherwise great piece of kit!

I mounted the Esstac M4 Triple Wedge Mag pouch upside down on my tac. vest.  I took out the bungee inserts and used the KYWI inserts for retention.  Running up and down the range all day never had any issues with the magazines falling out.  Setting it up this way helped me have super quick reloads!  Great product, I'm buying another for the other side of my vest.  I used Magpul PMags in this and they worked very well.  All pros on this one, no cons!

Very very happy with the Esstac M4 Tripe Wedge Mag Pouch. I purchsed this to mount on the Eagle All Molle Chest Rig and I think it is pretty much the perfect setup.

Construction is rock solid and it has a very slim profile. Love the adjustments that can be made. I use this with P Mags with the ranger floorplates and the retention straps still work fine. The mags are tight enough you probably dont even need the straps but its a nice option if you want to use them.

Webbing on the front is a nice feature so you could stack additional mags on the front. Not the cheapest triple mag pouch but you get what you pay for. No regrets- highly recommend.
