I wear the Esstac Nalgene Pouch on my right side, about 3 o'clock. Intended to hold a 1000 mL bottle, the large zippers and opening make retrieving my Nalgene bottle a snap. PALS on the front allows for the attachment of any other pouches you might want. There are some downsides though. For one it won't hold the Camelbak water bottle. Narrow mouth Nalgenes are just fine though. It is also not an insulated pouch, you your liquid won't stay cold. And like all Esstac products, it requires Malice Clips, but doesn't come with them. SKD does allow for the option to purchase them with the pouch for a few bucks more, but I'd rather just have them included. I just feel like I'm getting an incomplete product when I have to pay "extra" for attachment options. Construction is sound like all Esstac products. A plus though is that it can be used as just a regular GP pouch if so desired. Overall a pouch that does the job intended for, but isn't the best at it.
