Must have iith a Chest Rig!!! LOVE IT! May 9, 2012

They have different variations of the Boar Chest Rig but I ended up building my own, starting with the Boar A1 zip front in 7.62, added this harness and the hydration carrier and some extra pouches for my VTAC battle belt.  This padded harness gives me just a little real estate on the back.  The hydration carrier snaps in to the shoulder straps and hangs down over the back panel of this rig.  It can snap on or snap off that easy.  This rig has a nice set of slip tabs that slide over near the shoulder straps.  One is a nice long piece of non slip for your buttstock to rest against, that velcros underneath where you set it.  The other is a PALS webbing to attach a small pouch to your shoulder.  Just an absolute MUST with a chest rig.  Then there are two other slip pieces.  They all velcro to the vest straps.  Everything is well thought out.  Esstac did not miss a thing.  Great rig.

Essential accessory for the bore series chest rigs April 2, 2012

Sometimes you have to pay to play.  This items is essential to the bore series chest rigs.  The regular straps work just fine, but the difference in support provided by the padded harness is well worth the extra money.  With this harness the rig (I use the Bush Boar A1 split front) becomes more comfortable and sits more secure on the body.  Also, the MOLLE on it are prefect for smaller sized water bladders (maybe even larger ones?) should you need to incorporate that into your chest rig system.  You could also just run your hydration system over the whole rig and it would work just fine (the padded straps do not interfere).  I would buy this again and will recommend it to others.

Excellent harness March 22, 2012

I bought this harness to modify the harness on my Eagle LE chest rig. Even though the harness wasn't designed to fit the Eagle I was able to modify it easily. It's a very comfortable harness and I'm very happy with the product. Plus, shipping was quick as usual.

If you have a regular Boar you must buy this December 21, 2011

Night and day difference with the padded harness. The regular Boar isn't uncomfortable per se, but the padded harness is certainly more comfortable, and getting the Boar on and off is now more of a vest-like affair and less of a strap-tastic confusion fest. My Boar now goes on like a regular piece of clothing. A very worthwhile purchase.
