The Utility Pouch series from Esstac is the most rugged and bomb-prool general utility pouches on the market today. From the laminated 1000D Cordura to the #10 locking zippers, these pouches will provide a lifetime of hard-use. Three sizes (Small, Medium, Large) are available to match your specific requirements. Does not include Malice clips (requires 2 long).

Great Do-It-All pouch June 18, 2011

Think of this as your MOLLE Lunch-Box! You can fit all kinds of things in here. For a while I used it to carry my meals while out and about, by fitting a water bottle in it, and a meal (sandwich, granola bars, etc), right next to it. All fits inside the pouch, and because is made out of double layered 1000D Cordura, it maintains its shape very well, without sagging. You can also fit a full size Nalgene bottle in it, and plenty of other gears. I like to attach it to the outside of my pack and place 3 or 4 rolls of wool socks, or t-shirts when going for a long trip. I am sure you can think of more than one thing to do with this thing!
But, it has some issues. One been that it's heavy for a pouch. If you account for all the junk you already carry, well, account for the weight of the pouch as well. Also, the PALS attachment, doesn't start at the top, which makes it not be as secure as it can possibly be.
All in all, a great pouch either way. Tough and durable, made in good-old-USA!

as with all esstac gear its wellmade & durable yet I saw 1 design flaw but easy to fix. the front molle is 4 columns wide yet the rear, being just as wide, is stitched so that only 3 columns(centered) engage the pouch to your platform be vest or pack. therefore when the pouch is filled to capacity it has the tendancy to flop around. Simple fix: using a blade I removed the rear stitching on the left&right side columns allowing the pouch to engage 4 columns on my pack making a more rigid (less floppy) mount. been using it on my HSGI TRASHBAG 6months no issues

Great Utility Pouch June 25, 2010

I bought two of these for my S.O. Tech Go Bag Extended.  I use my bag as a weapons case and wanted to add a pouch for a pistol and magazines.  When I got the pouches I was really impressed with how well they were made.  They are reinforced and very strong.  They are large enough to put an HK USP .45 Tactical in one and my leg drop holster in the other!  The only reason it gets 4 stars is because I prefer MOLLE system.  Instead you have to purchase MALICE clips.

Review of Esstac Large Pouch June 20, 2010

I purchased the Esstac Large Utility/Pouch for my SOTech Go Bag.  The The pouch opens from the top, and the two zippers allow give it a generous opening, and the design has plenty of give.  It mounted perfectly to the SOTech Go Bag, and in it I carry socks, a pair of underwear and t-shirt, and a gortex raincoat all rolled up.  No problems closing it.  The only downside really for me is like everything Esstac, it doesn't come with any form of attachment.  You have to purchase MALICE clips separately.  Also the grommet holes at the body I think might be a bit too big.  I could really see it working both ways, allowing water/sand to drain out as well as get in.  All in all, a good purchase.

Well made pouch.  Great for organizing your pack.  Got it to put in the beaver tail of my Yote.  I could easily put at least a couple of these in there.
