I Paired with with the Esstac KIWI inserts and it's quick to don and doff. Fits the Molle on my Mayflower carrier and stays put.

    Excellent Stuff

Posted by Shawn Washburn on 12th Apr 2020

I've gad zero issues with this Kangaroo panel. I have a triple mag insert inside of it, and a Blueforcegear elastic triple mag pouch mounted on the outside (to hold a total of 6 magazines on my Slickster). The platform is perfectly stable and solid for the magazines inside of it, and additional pouch mounted on the outside of it. Very glad I bought this with my Slickster. Made the plate carrier even better.

Kangaroo pouch w/non Ferro mag pouches

Posted by Unknown on 22nd Nov 2019

Well built, durable product. It is not great for mounting non Ferro pouches to. The pouch only has 1.5” of hook and loop at the opening. The rest of the pouch is just fabric. Pouches mounted in the molle are very unstable and flop around. If you store random items in the pouch(chemlight, random mags, tools, maps, etc) they will slide around. I think this could be fixed with full hook and loop coverage in the pouch much like many other plate carriers. I assume this is due to the pouch being made to pair with Ferro’s mag pouches. If Ferro made a product like this with full hook and loop coverage in the pouch I would replace this in a heartbeat.

Seems like a solid piece of gear...

Time will tell but so far it seems like a solid piece of gear.
