FirstSpear Admin Pocket, 6/9™

Front facing loop pile for affixing IFF or other insignia and two divided pockets in the back for ID, Status Cards, etc. The pocket on the side can hold hand-held flashlight, spare pistol magazine or multi-tool/folding knife.

6/9™ Attachment
Developed specifically for those Users who have not yet adopted FirstSpear™ 6/12™ platforms, the 6/9™ Modular Pocket Technology is not only completely backward compatible with legacy MOLLE/PALS style load carriage or armor carrier platforms, but also offers significant weight reduction over traditional MOLLE/PALS pockets. Due to the flexible nature of the attachment straps and tighter tolerances when compared to traditional MOLLE/PALS, 6/9™ pockets actually mount closer to the body and conform tighter to the platform. Already adopted by Professional Users within the joint US Special Operations Forces community, this system provides many advantages over the traditional MOLLE/PALS system and can further help facilitate transition into the 6/12™ Modular Pocket Technology where the ultimate in weight savings, signature management and tight fit can be achieved. This pocket lays nice and flat on my carrier and holds my phone, notepad, pens and various other gear I need quick access to on duty perfectly. The pocket for a light/mag. is a bit too deep for magazines but is perfect for a Surefire.

Very well made. The MOLLE is not overly thick which made for easy attachment. The main pocket fits a short write in the rain book and the flashlight pocket is plenty big so it won't mean worrying about accidentally switching your light on.

I like the pockets for terrain maps, notes, flashlight, pens, etc.  I don't like the attachment.  They could line the straps up a little better and put one per column instead of just the 2 on either side.  if that makes sense.  allow the pocket to attach to every column it covers.

The answer to several kit problems August 31, 2012

I was unsure if this was going to serve the purpose I needed at first, but this pouch has turned out to be the perfect investment.  Run it in the center of my chest and carry all my admin essentials plus an extra set of cuffs and a flashlight.  The loop velcro on the outside still provides plenty of room for patches.

The sewing and quality of this pouch is second to none.  Great stuff by FirstSpear.
