Based on the polymer reinforced FirstSpear™ M4 Speed Reload Pocket, the pistol version is available for several different firearms and in single, double or triple configurations. Shock cord and speed tab provide additional retention and can be easily removed if not desired.

Very fast for reloading. June 23, 2012

Has great retention on magazines, And the straps allow for additional retention for when your in high speed situations. Very durable and the materials have held up to abuse during a three day pistol course. Greatest magazine pouches I ever brought.

Tight--almost too tight when new.. June 4, 2012

I have the dbl-stack version of this pouch, which was almost unsafely tight (too tight for a smooth draw) but loosened up with use. I imagine this one will too. As distinct from my other pistols, I have both stainless and milspec coated 1911 mags. Stainless 1911 mags are PERFECT in this pouch. Milspec coated will need break-in. I can't imagine ever needing the retention cords--but they're nice to have so you can move 'em to other gear. First Spear is the new joint for 21st century gear though...

Uses 4 PALS columns.

A little (insert sarcasm) pricey but def spead up my reload time on my secondary, and it's the same motions for getting my mags for my primary. Def the coolest looking mag pouches out right now, which as we all know is the most important part. If you slap a set of these on the front of your APC I guarantee you will look 20% cooler
