Gear Sector Rail Mount QD Swivel

The [Patent Pending] Gear Sector™ Rail Mount QD Swivel provides a forward mounting location for those who wish to utilize our two or three point sling with a QD push button adapter. Designed to fit perfectly flush the Tango Down rail panels to provide an uninterrupted rail space. The socket was designed and machined to prevent rotation which in turns prevents your sling from becoming twisted. Comes with heavy duty push button swivel as pictured.

The Gear Sector™ Rail Mount QD Swivel is precision CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and finished per Military Specification (MIL-A-8625F) Type III, Class II Hard Coat.

Installation is straight forward. Simply loosen the socket head cap screw. Remove the screw / clamp assembly. Apply a drop of Vibra-Tite® VC3™ (included) to the last few threads and allow to dry. Slide the mount onto your rail system, insert screw / clamp assembly and tighten it down with the included allen wrench.

Gear Sector. 'Nuff said. Super high quality machining, great build quality. I own quite a few little Gear Sector trinkets (Hand stops, Surefire Offset Mounts) and this QD swivel is the latest one and I am not disappointed. It's the perfect companion to the Viking Tactics 2 point sling (another gem). Only negative was that the FDE coloration was out of stock, still 5 stars.

So far this seems like a good piece of gear.  A couple of times the QD button seemed to "stick" and required some fiddling with.  Could turn into a long term problem, we'll see.  I've had this for about 1 week using it everyday in Afghanistan

Lock tite and alan wrench included.  Very well machined and hugs the pic rail nice and tight.  been using this thing on the side rail of a S&W M&P MOE 15-22 and its been a faithful and useful piece of kit thus far.

It's a very solid and attractive product, the strap attachment doesn't actually swivel but very solid for the front of a railed rifle
