Gear Sector SureFire E-Series Offset Light Mount

Gear Sector’s patent pending offset flashlight mounts offer improved ergonomics, a snag-free profile along with optimal placement of your weapon light. They can be installed in one of eight different clock positions on a picatinny rail system to suit nearly every shooting style and grip configuration conceivable. The Surefire E-Series mounts are designed to fit perfectly flush with Tango Down rail panels for an uninterrupted rail space. Fits SureFire E-Series lights with a .830" body diameter, and cut at .825” for an extremely precise fit.

The SureFire E-Series Offset Light Mount is precision CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and finished per Military Specification (MIL-A-8625F) Type III, Class II Hard Coat.

Installation: Installation is straight forward. Simply remove both socket head cap screws from the mount body. Apply a drop of Vibra-Tite® VC3™ ( included ) to the last few threads on each screw and allow to dry. Using a flat head screw driver, slightly expand the retaining ring while inserting your flashlight. Secure the ring retaining screw. Slide the mount onto your rail system, insert screw / clamp assembly and tighten it down with the included allen wrench.

Used it with a Surefire LX2. A bit tight to get the light in to, but perfect once it's in there. Super slick mount.

Locks up tight and holds the light close for a low profile. Very light weight, but solid and I have no doubts of its durability.

Great offset mount for Surefire E series October 28, 2011

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the price.  The Surefire light I'm using this to mount was just a few dollars more.  Other than that, its light and well-made.  Its hard to find mounts for E series lights because they've been discontinued by Surefire, but luckily SKD still sells them.

I own two Surefire  E2L flashlights that have gone through a LOT! I have used them primarily as a pocket light, because there have never really been any good resolutions, mount wise, for their odd diameter (.81").  The Gear Sector E-series offset light mount works rock solid on my MP5! Easy access to the tail cap from the for end or vert grip depending on where on the rail I have it! Great piece of equipment for a great light!
