Gear Sector SureFire G2 Offset Light Mount

The Patented [ US Patent No. D644,706 ] Gear Sector™ offset flashlight mount was designed to provide a low profile, ergonomic solution for attaching a weapon light to a picatinny rail. We designed the mount to fit perfectly flush with the Tango Down rail panels for an uninterrupted rail space. This model fits the over-sized Surefire G2® Nitrolon lights. This mount DOES NOT FIT the Surefire G2X series lights. See the 6P/G2X mount for this application.

The SureFire G2 Offset Light Mount is precision CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and finished per Military Specification (MIL-A-8625F) Type III, Class II Hard Coat.

Installation: Installation is straight forward. Simply remove both socket head cap screws from the mount body. Apply a drop of Vibra-Tite® VC3™ ( included ) to the last few threads on each screw and allow to dry. Using a flat head screw driver, slightly expand the retaining ring while inserting your flashlight. Secure the ring retaining screw. Slide the mount onto your rail system, insert screw / clamp assembly and tighten it down with the included allen wrench.

Solid Product, but very tight February 23, 2011

This is my second Gear Sector light mount, my first being the Surefire E2 model.  Both are solidly constructed and mount tight and secure.  The design mounts the light at and angle so it keeps the profile of your long arm slim and yet the light's tailcap is easily accessible and activated.  This mount loses one star because for the G2, the fit was so tight that I had to put the light bezel down on a carpet and knock the mount on with a nylon armorer hammer.  Good tight fit but the E2 model installed the light smoother.
