Great mount! May 13, 2013
Reviewer: T
This mount is great. It's rock-solid and it puts the mount wherever you want it, in my case at 1 o'clock up and out of the way right next to the front sight. Perfect for use with a tape switch.

Right where I like it April 1, 2013

Puts my Scout light right where I like it, this is very low profile and sturdy. It is currently the only mounts that I use. I highly recommend.

I've used a few different mounting systems and this one takes the cake as far as permanent style offset mount. Very low profile and rock solid.

Puts the Scout light right where it needs to be for postive manipulation using a c-clamp grip.

Gear Sector Scout Offset Mount February 17, 2011
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Seattle, WA United States
I'd been using a Scout on my RAS at the 9 o'clock for awhile and this is a 100% improvement. Now I've got it at my 11 o'clock and find it much easier to activate the switch as well as much more comfortable when shouldering and the low-ready. Extremely well made, solid, and simple to install, includes hex wrenches and lock-tite.
FYI my Scout (which is a very old model) required a "torx" key and not the included allen key to remove the old mount.
