HSGI Admin Pouch Modular

The modular version of HSGI's "Admins" pouch (found standard on Denali, DACH and Warlord chest rigs). The "MAP" measures 10 1/2" wide X 9" tall X 1" thick. 4 rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing with 6 columns across. 1" side release buckles on top to provide quick closure and adjustable cord-lock/draw string for quick closure or adjustable shelf for desired angle as admins pouch opens. Clear vinyl map compartment, large secondary pocket behind the ult. pouch (for radio, compass, GPS, etc.), 6 pen pockets and 2 slots for chem lights, markers or like items. Made from 1000 denier Cordura, HD #10 vislon zipper and sewn with #138 bonded nylon threads (#69 bonded nylon threads for bartacking) . Made in the USA and backed with HSGI's lifetime warranty.

I was pleased that all of the MOLLE straps were Multicam. HSGIs color matching on the straps is superior to some of the other types I've seen out there. This pouch is beefy and can be seriously loaded up. Mine is doing a great job at holding my maps down in windy conditions.

Ordered to attach to the back of my pack.

Was pleasantly surprised when I received to see that, as opposed to the pictures shown, the MOLLE webbing on the front of the pouch is actually Multicam and not solid Coyote Tan. Even better in my opinion.

If you are looking for a big admin pouch, this one is a great choice.

A little larger then I thought it would be. It barely fits on a small FSBE rig. But it works quite well.

When I first received it I was amazed at the sheer size of the pouch. It was not expected and I forgot to count the rows it takes up, didn't fit on the chest so I decided to throw it down on the cummerbund instead, it rides perfectly with M4 mag pouches over it.
Big and durable zipper, all the small sorting pouches and spaces inside makes it one of the better admin pouches I've had.
The only downside I see is that the map pouch should be fully close-able, as it is now if it rains heavily the map might get wet and ruined, but other than that I must say that this pouch is superb.

Great pouch!

The unique MOLLE hookup let me attach it with ease.  The stitching is great and looks bomb-proof.  The Zipper is of the hard wear type perfect for field use and looks like the result of user input.

The clear map holder and adjustable cordage (for turning the pouch into a field desk) are great.  When using the zipper, you can reach in and yank gear from the pouch quickly and quietly.  Or you can use the fastex buckle and have an instant map table.  

The interior pen holders in can hold map markers, pencils, and pens, and the elastic loops, for chem lights, work just as well for securing other stuff.  The slip pocket is great storage for extra maps and essential papers you might need to carry.  The compass pouch has more than enough room for a lensatic, notepad, and a flashlight.

The front of the pouch is covered in MOLLE webbing perfect for mounting pouches, which actually helps anchor it when using it as a field desk.

Don't leave home without one.
