HSGI COBRA Riggers Belt

Sewn with the same strength and attention to detail as HSGI's standard Riggers Belt but with the quick release COBRA buckle. HSGI Cobra Rigger's Belts are constructed of 2 layers of 1.75" Type 13 webbing rated for 7000lbs. Sewn together with Bonded 138 nylon thread with 5 rows of stitching the entire length. The two layers are not only sewn together, but are laminated with an industrial strength adhesive to give more rigidity and stiffness.

The Proven Quick Release COBRA Parachute Buckles are used to secure the belt (Rated for 4000lbs). This belt is capable of handling anything you can throw at it. From holding your pants up, to emergency extraction hanging from a helicopter. This Belt is 1.75" wide.

When ordering to be worn as an inner belt for the Sure-Grip Padded Belt, order larger than the SGPB Itself.

Second belt June 8, 2016

Great belt, on my second one. Very sturdy and holds battle belt securely in place. Based on their disclaimer, not sure I would rappel in this, but overall it's top notch.

Very sturdy, easily adjustable, but expensive. April 20, 2016

This belt is a beast! Thick, high quality, super Velcro, a tad expensive, but definitely the right belt for any battle belt. I also bought the HSGI Padded Belt to go with this. Here is the review and suggestion for threading the inner belt through the padded belt, if you get both:

**This is a very nice, high quality, non-slip, padded belt. I also purchased the HSGI Cobra riggers belt to go along with it. It too is very nice. One thing to note, the Velcro inside the belt that prevents the inner belt from moving around can be difficult to the rigger belt threaded through. I used a metal yard stick (wood will work), to slip in first so the two different sides of the Velcros weren't trying to love on each other as you draw the inner belt through the inside of the padded belt. I also tied a thin rope to the rigger belt buckle to help assist pulling it through as it slips along the yard stick inside the padded belt.

Pros: The belt is great for wearing on pants, cobra clip feels and looks amazing, the belt is extremely sturdy/durable.
Cons: If you plan on getting this belt to run through your HSGI Sure Grip Battle Belt GET A SIZE BIGGER.

All and all great product 10-10

Good intermediate level belt. February 3, 2016

I bought this to replace the outer belt in my Crye MRB.  The belt (or rather piece of webbing) supplied by Crye was low profile but lacked support.  I even tried my SOE EDC belt and it was just too stiff and added too much bulk to the overall setup.  I had an old Blackhawk belt similar to this one which fit great but lacked the quick release buckle so I opted to purchase this particular belt.  It seems to be the right combination of thickness and support with the advantage of having the Cobra buckle.  Makes a great addition to the Crye MRB and I would imagine most other similarly designed battle belt rigs.  Definitely recommended.
