Heavy duty.  Nice.  Should provide years of use.  I like it better than some of the Tactical Tailor stuff.

EOD Modular Pouch; large January 1, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from New Zealand
Well constructed and soundly made product. Spacious internal slots/pockets and elasticated loops well put together. Most suited to purpose intended for use and I can easily think of other purposes, sports, functions it could be utilised to; very versatile bit kit - which is what I wanted.

Internal cord could be a little longer to allow opening to fully 180 degrees if necessary, however this isn't a deal-breaker. I would prefer to see fabric MOLLE attachment strips rather than the hard plastic clips...but that's a personal preference and doesn't detract away from the product quality.

Perhaps just a little pricey, however, again not a deal breaker as I'm sure it's lifetime use will pay off.

Service delivery superb!

HSGI well made, and Good Layout. March 20, 2014

First of all I want to address the size of this pouch is pretty big and the pictures don't really do it justice (not to say that this is a bad thing). Get a ruler and imagine the noted dimensions and imagine it on a rig or carrier THEN see if the size and layout will fit your needs.

Now the pouch itself is well made; the layout is well organized. The side of the pouch that will mount to your rig or PC has a tad bit more "pockets" then the bottom half that will be suspended by the drop cord when deployed open. The Bottom portion has less pockets, simple pockets if you will. (note the pictures)

I imagine accessing items on the bottom half when the pouch is opened is slightly more difficult thus the "simple/few pockets". The slightly more organized side is closest to the body, which from my imagination is more easier to access. Pretty neat idea who ever thought of that.

slightly big zippers work like a breeze when ripping the pouch open.

I use mine as a standalone med kit.

The pouch is big enough for my first aid kit. You can use this pouch for utility purposes also since the pouch is pretty big.

Gerat Med Unit - Lots of staps and such May 9, 2012

This is a very nice pouch.  I got the large and I am glad I did.  It fits everything I need for trauma wounds and no more.  Perfect fold out pouch much like the one on my Turkey vest for keeping my calls.  I run this unit on the back of my battle belt.  I really wish it had a piece of velcro so I could rip it off to get it in my hands when there is a man down instead of having to drop my belt to get to my med pack.  I wrote to Esstac, and I believe they have a solution.  If so, I will update my post.  Again, expensive piece of gear until you see it.  The zippers are top notch and quiet and every detail is thought out.  Esstac gear is the BEST! SKD states the pouch does not come with MALICE clips. Wrong...Esstac ships MALICE clips with all their gear.
