HSGI Mini Admin Pouch Modular

Design originated from 7th Group as they needed a smaller admin pouch. A 5"x 7" photo album was used (not supplied) inside to hold information sheets. There is a pen holder sewn into the interior, along with 4 panels/pockets to hold flat items inside. Has bungee cord suspension system to hold outer panel at any desired angle as well as to dummy cord your pen or penlight. Outside has 3 rows of MOLLE/PALS webbing for addtional modular pouches and also includes loop velcro for unit patches. The center of the looped velcro is open behind to allow items to slip behind such as medical shears. 2 velcroed tabs on upper sides act like quick closures for on the go moves. Made of 1000 denier Cordura, no see-um mesh, sewn together with 138 nylon threads, comes complete with 2 large Malice Clips and carries HSGI's Lifetime Warranty. Made entirely in the USA.

Marketed as "mini" but acctual dimensions are nearly identical to tactailor enhanced admin wich offers much more veritility, hsgi mini is great quality but is geared more for paperwork and the netting is hard to read maps thru

nice admin pouch but not what i wanted September 7, 2012
Reviewer: Garett Roy from Ontario, Canada
i was looking for a small admin pouch something that would not fall into my kangaroo pouch area or interfere with the mags i put there, but it still did, i found that it even with nothing in it, would sag to much got in the way and stuck out further than my original admin pouch i had, also didnt like the internal setup just did not seem to make sense or have any organization, it would be great for extra mags food keys batteries but not at all what i wanted, i was going to listen to the other reviews i should have for 10$ would have been worth it but for $40 i feel way over priced for a big bulky pouch with no organization and not my idea of mini. my other bone to pick with it is the webbing system it comes with its the plastic low pro stuff i forget what its called but it just did not work right and again made it to saggy and stuck out. had high hopes for this but sadly let down

HSGI Minin Admin Modular Pouch April 5, 2012

I wanted a compact modular pouch with a pen holder that completely enclosed the pen.  I wanted to carry a small Bible, a small Rite In The Rain tablet and the pen.  The HSGI pouch really fills the bill nicely and I like the quality of HSGI's products.

I also like the quality of SKD's service and timely delivery.  My order shipped, at the latest, the next business day if not the day I placed the order, and that's important to me.

Almost there, but not quite March 30, 2012

Bought this to replace another admin pouch that was way too big and blocked access to the mags on my PC.  This fit the bill, but it is missing some of the internal organization that you find in most other admin pouches on the market.  I understand that it was designed for a specific purpose (hold a photo album) and a specific group of operators, but agree with other reviewers that stated the inside is not laid out the best.  Gene at HSGI could have added an elastic band or two to hold the usual junk that makes it way into this type of pouch like a multi-tool, flashlight, pistol mag, Taco Bell Soft Taco (don't judge me).   Other than that, its bomb proof in construction and has some of the beefiest heavy duty zippers I've ever seen on a pouch this size.  I like that the Velcro tabs keep it closed without having to zip the zippers up all the way for when I'm too busy or lazy to button it up all the way.  Will probably do some mods to it to make it work b/c I don't feel like returning it.

Could be improved, but still good March 11, 2011

I mounted this top center on a Woosatch and it served me well; the internal pockets were almost useless to me though.

I kept a GPS, notepad, spare batteries pens, and a cut down VIS-17 panel in mine.
