HSGI Smoke Pouch Modular, Double

The "MSPD" (Modular Smoke Pouch / Double) will carry 2/ M-18 Smoke Grenades. Inside the pouches it has the strap for the spoon to prevent rotation. The flap uses either or both a Side Release Buckle and Hook and Loop to secure closed. A silencing strip is provide for the Hook and Loop is provided for silent operation of securing the flap. Mailce clips are provided. Made entirely in the USA and comes with the HSGI "Lifetime Warranty".

These are nice pouches, one of the few I found with multicam flaps on top.  The one thing I would tell you, is to take a closer look at is the material used for these flaps.  The material is not true multicam material, it is webbing, colored like multicam.  To me this is a small issue and is the only thing I wasn't 100% about.

Very good quality. Fits standard smoke munitions and Def Tec's Tri-chamber as well. It's easy to get muntions in and out of this pouch, it's not to tight and not to loose.

You can't beat the creativity and overall quality of design from HSGI.  I bought these because they could fit buly smoke gernades but really liked the spoon retention feature and the silent opening feature.  You can't go wrong with quality and the good retention these provide.  I attached to my SO Tech go bag.  Whereas, attaching this to your vest you would want to be mindful of the bulk and have a place on the side so as not to cramp your prone position.

Good pouch, but TACO beats it June 15, 2011

This pouch is good for rock-solid retention, but not so much for fast drawing.  I love the spoon retainer strap, which doubles as a method of orienting the grenade in the pouch where others allow it to shift.  Also, this pouch is roomy enough to fit the triple-smoke grenades available from ALS or Def-Tec, which are slightly fatter and taller than normal M18s.  However, I ended up dropping this guy in favor of a pair of TACOs, because they're so much more versatile - I don't always want two grenades, sometimes I just want more lead.  The TACOs save me having to fiddle with MALICE clips every time my gear changes.

i use this to carry a 9 bang and a flash bang with mine.  now i need to buy a single smoke pouch to carry a m18.
