HSGI Sure-Grip Padded Belt

This new Modular Padded Belt System is the one of the slimmest, and sturdiest on the market. 0.75" Thick And only 4.5" Tall. The key feature that makes this belt stand apart from the rest is our use of Neoprene as the Padding. If you are familiar with our Wa/Wee Shoulder Pads, you will love the way this belt feels. The Neoprene adds a unique "Gel Like Feel" to the belt while adding a level of Grip that is unlike any other belt system we have seen. The belt has a removable HDPE stiffener sheet through the entire main portion where the 3 continuous Rows of PALS/MOLLE are located for added stability.

There are 3 Access ports for the attachment of subloads directly to the Interior belt. 2 are located on the Hips at 3oclock and 9oclock, the 3rd is located at the 6oclock position to attach Dump Pouches directly to the Inner Belt. 4 Suspender Attachment points are located around the belt.

There is a 2" Strip of Hook Material sewn the entire Length of the Interior Belt Channel on the Body Side and 10" strips along the outer side near the pocket Openings. Available in 4 Common sizes.

Order a COBRA Riggers Belt for the ultimate Sure-Grip Padded Belt Setup!! When Ordering To Be Worn As An Inner Belt For The Sure-Grip Padded Belt, Order Larger Than The SGPB Itself (Small is 28-30 order a 32" COBRA, Medium is 32-34 order a 36" COBRA, Large 36-38 order a 42" COBRA, Extra-Large is 40-42 Order a 46" COBRA) And Add Loop Material To The Inside.

All belts are made to pants waist sizes between 2 sizes. How it actually fits depends on where you wear it around your body, as some hips are wider than waists.. Please use the chart below to figure out the best size for you. Take a cloth tape and measure where you are gonna wear the belt. So basically the measurement around your waist, find the closest Around Your Waist Measurement that you are over in the chart below. If you measure 44.5 around your waist, pick up the Large Modular Belt because the XL will overlap. If cloth tape is not available a piece of string or rope used then measured will work. The object is to get the ends as close together as possible without overlapping. A Gap of up to 5" may be present on some wearers.

The Belt Size (Your Pants Size) -- Around Your Waist Measurement -- Columns of MOLLE
  • Small Modular Belt (28"-30") -- 30.5" end to end -- Approximately 16 Columns of MOLLE
  • Medium Modular Belt (32"-34") -- 35.5" end to end -- Approximately 20 Columns of MOLLE
  • Large Modular Belt (36"-38") -- 41" end to end -- Approximately 23 Columns of MOLLE
  • X-Large Modular Belt (40"-42") -- 46.5" end to end -- Approximately 27 Columns of MOLLE

Excellent gear January 27, 2015
Reviewer: Kyle T. from Clarksburg, WV United States
Bought one of these belts about a year ago and Ive fallen in love with it. Extremely comfortable even when fully loaded and really distributes the load and weight evenly. HSGI make exceptional products and SKD is always great to deal with. Highly recommend this belt.

Best / mostt verstile battle belt? January 27, 2015
Reviewer: Johan from Europe
My second one. Versitile, can be used with or without stiffener (included) and with or without susbenders. HSGI makes a very robust, hard to find yoke type of suspender with a bit of MOLLE on the back that transforms the belt to an old school patrolling rig- recomended!

Great belt January 18, 2015
Reviewer: Richard S. from Martinsburg, WV United States
Had other padded belts that were weak and could not support itself let alone pouches and magazines.  This belt is strong and has a stiffener inside that you also use to help insert your inner belt. The rubber backing keeps the belt on your waist where it's designed to be. Great belt bought a second one for my son.

excellent tactical belt January 10, 2015

Comfortable and well made. Sits comfortably on the hips and interior lining prevents slippage. No need to pay more for an excellent tactical belt.

All Day Comfort January 1, 2015
Reviewer: John from IL United States
Config: 3 Rifle Mag Tacos, 2 pistol Tacos, 1 Combo Taco, CompTac int'l holster, Max ped dump pouch and Chinook IFAK. I completed an 8 hour AR class fully loaded. No discomfort or a whole lot of movement. When squatting it ride up a little, however I could have tightened it some more. It was 19 degrees out in WI, so I cannot comment on the belt being too warm. Just keep an eye out on the webbing stitches (vertical stiches) at the bottom of the webbing... The very last stitch may come loose when mounting your gear, however HSGI stated that it’s not a big issue as the stitch before it is locked into place and will not unravel. However HSGI is said it is covered.
