HawkePaks Micro GunPak

**The NEW Micro GunPak is now available with 2 velcro pockets (pictured above), and no dedicated cell phone pocket**

This is the best fanny pack design we have come across in years- it looks like it will hold a J-frame or Subcompact at most, but Voila- Glock 17 and 2 Spare Mags?  No Problem.

The concealed gun pack that doesn't look like one... Will hold most handguns securely hidden inside a small main compartment. The barrel actually extends into the side pocket areas. The wing holds a Nextel or Nokia style phone, there is a velcro flapped change pocket on the other wing and double magazine elastic inside the main compartment. Comes fitted w/ 2 quick open pull tabs for ambidextrous setup and @70" of 1.5" belt for security customization. New Thumb Break Module is now Ambidextrous!!!

bulky June 25, 2014

I will use the product but it is bulker than was indicated. I have removed the holster and probably will make something with less bulk.  The straps slip too easily out of adjustment.  I really wanted something that didn't protrude out so much.  There is no reason this product is not flatter and less conspicuous.  I was happier with the product before I filled out this survey.

Bulky April 14, 2014

This looks like it's built well.  The material is stiff and should take normal wear and tear well.

It is bulky though.  The center sticks out a ways because of the option to hold to magazines on the inside of the flap.  The two outside pockets make it look like a utility belt, but it is useful if you want to carry a badge, cuffs, phone, and wallet all in one place.

I've worn it a few times for off-duty carry, and it's comfortable when walking around.
When I wore it while driving with a lap belt,  the shape of it made it uncomfortable
The belt straps are extra long, so it can be cut to fit.

The center pistol pocket comes with a holster system which is adjustable with Velcro.  The snap part is also removable if you want the pistol to be able to come out quicker.

Overall I would recommend it for plainclothes on duty use or when you want to carry everything off duty.

I have an older Desantis fanny pack system which has a lower profile but won't carry everything I need.

HawkePaks Micro GunPak March 31, 2014

The gun pack looked good and I tried it with my airssoft sub-compact, a little tight as airsoft pistols may not be manufactured according to actual size, but all in all I like this pack.  A very versatile product but if the belt can be a bit solid it'll be perfect.

Almost there-needs a tweek or two January 17, 2014

Design change from a prior one where one pocket had a zip closure, these are all Velcro, miss the zip closure. Android cell phone just fits in front pocket of main pack. Like the interior holster very much. Thumb break tab (female snap piece) could be a little longer above the snap. Understand it is short because it would get bumped open riding in the pack, but would like a touch more to make for a more positive release. Wasn't sure about the grey color since there were no side by side color pics but it is a medium shade that does not scream tactical. I like. One person complained about the length of the straps. Old design had Velcro end tabs which where nice but caused problems when trying to shorten the straps. New one, cut to fit, heat seal the end and double it back through the tri-glide. No issues. Using it with a Kahr P45. Fit is just right. Spare mag, knife, small flashlight and all my normal pocket junk just fits with no room to spare. Just right.

Bought this for my wife and she is quite pleased with it. I may have to pick one up for myself now.
