ITW Nexus Grimloc Molle D-ring

The Fastex(R) Grimloc Locking D-Ring can be used on any 1" wide piece of webbing and replaces the metal carabiner for attachment of lanyards, weapons, and accessories.

It is fabricated from high strength lightweight plastic, incorporates GhillieTex IR-signature reduction technology, and resists solar heating. Its latch is designed with a detent to maintain an open position if needed and, while strong enough to carry equipment, it will break away with a soldier's weight, eliminating snagging hazards which can cause serious injuries.

The Grimloc Locking D-Ring's release button is textured for ease of use with gloved hands and works as a pump for purging trapped sand or water through integral drain holes. Since the Grimloc is made from plastic, it will not serve as a platform for ricochets or become a secondary projectile.

  • Fits 1" Webbing, integral drain port
  • Low-IR, 80 lb. break strength
  • Color Options: Black / Foliage Green / Khaki (Single Color: Packet of 4)

Used extensively by the United States Army and Marine Corps. MADE IN U.S.A.

snap links vs grimlocs September 25, 2012
Reviewer: BTC from Lynden, WA United States
I have used the grimlocs for years and used snap links for many years prior to that.  Grimlocs work better for securing equipment to ones kit because they are specifically built for this purpose.  Grimlocs open easily and wide enough to quickly load and unload gear.  Dummy cord a knife or window punch to a grimloc and you can quickly have it available without a long piece of cord getting in our way.  They lock in place so you don't have to worry about them opening by accident or having a sling or something slipping inside causing a major hang up.

simple and effective September 21, 2010
Reviewer: Phil from Texas
These are a must have and a great addition to any piece of gear. Simple to put on and take off.  I use these on my S.O. Tech Go Bag to hold para cord and on my plate carrier to hold my pace beads. They're also great for holding a Nalgene in a random place.

Single most useful "gadget" I use June 24, 2010
Reviewer: Josh King from New York, NY United States
What "cant" you use the Grimloc's for?  I tie down bouncing hydration hoses, keep unruly camo neeting from running wild, keep excess webbing out of the way.  For the price, you wont find a more versatile tool.  I keep dozens in my toolbox just in case - you will find infinate uses for them.
