The Tac Link is a high strength polymer attachment device with GhillieTEX ® I.R. Signature Reduction Technology. This product has considerable weight and cost savings over metal climbing carabineers. All of the external components are high strength molded polymer, which eliminates metal noise and paint scratches.

I use ITW Tac Links for everything from attaching my key rings to my para-cord lanyard, to retaining my PIG FDT Alpha gloves to my battle belt, and on backpacking trips [where weight matters more then anything] for attaching gear to my pack .Quality of the gate is outstanding and holds up to the elements quiet well with no signs of rusting or breaking after over 6 months of testing. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to attach items to other gear where weight is a concern.

You should have a couple of these on your rig.  Great for attaching stuff on your rig or directing your hydration hose.  Light weight.  Very well made.
