LaRue Aimpoint COMP M2 Mount QD

If the Aimpoint is the Perfect Red Dot Sight, then the LaRue Tactical Comp M2 Mount is the Perfect Aimpoint Mount. Sight mounts are a dime a dozen, but nowhere else do you get the simple elegance and functionality of the LaRue Aimpoint Comp M2 Mount.

LaRue Tactical’s proprietary QD Throw Levers are fully adjustable for rail variances, and ensures a Return to Zero each and every time you re-install it. The LaRue exclusive safety lock keeps the mount in place until YOU WANT IT OFF. The LaRue Aimpoint Comp M2 Mount puts your Iron Sight Picture in the bottom 1/3 of your field of view, allowing you to SEE MORE through your Reflex Sight, which is the whole point of a Reflex Sight to begin with.

The LaRue Aimpoint Comp M2 Mount also provides a waterproof battery compartment so you an keep an extra battery on hand at all times. If you just purchased an Aimpoint Comp series sight (Aimpoint Comp M2, Comp ML2, Comp M3, Comp ML3, Comp C3), or other 30mm Reflex Sight such as the Trijicon Tri-Power, this is the perfect AR-15 Mount. The LaRue Aimpoint Comp M2 Mount puts your Reflex Sight 1.7" above the Picatinny rail it is mounted to. Need a lower sight option? The shorter RAS II mount will mount your Reflex Sight 1.2" above the Picatinny rail.

LaRue make GREAT products. They ain't cheap, but as is said "Buy once, cry once." This is my 2nd 150 to replace an Aimpoint Pro base.

I had a problem with another manufacturer's mount coming loose and not holding zero.  The LaRue LT-150 absolutely solved all problems and is a top quality product.  SKD also gets my endorsement for excellent service and value, with fast shipping.  Thank you

An excellent piece of hardware.  A bit expensive, but very well designed and nicely machined and finished.  Typical of what you expect when you purchase a LaRue product.  

SKD performed admirably.  No issues whatsoever.  Really fast shipping.  No hestation about buying from them again.

I haven't had time to mount my Aimpoint on my rifle and go to the range yet, so I can't comment on how well it holds zero. My first impressions of the mount are that the machine work and the finish are great. It looks well made. No rough edges and the finish is even. I like the lock on the quick release lever. No worries about snagging it on something and knocking my Aimpoint off the rifle.

The reputation of LaRue is well deserved.  This is my second LaRue mount and am well satisfied with both.  I especially like being able to remove the mount and optic and replace them quickly if needed.
