The stock mounts for the Leupold CQ/T leave much to be desired, particularly when used with Steyr AUG style rifles. The ARMS mount levers interfere with the operation of the charging handle, and the clunky two piece bolt on mount uses tension to hold the optic in place - a poor solution.
The LaRue mount solves all of these problems. With the throw levers on the right side, the charging handle path is clear of obstructions. The optic bolts into the LaRue mount - the optic isn't going anywhere. The smooth left side ensures there is nothing to interfere with operation of weapon controls. The LaRue quick release throw levers securely lock the optic to the picatinny rail.
This is the best upgrade you can make to the CQ/T optic.
