LaRue Low-Profile Gas Block

LT Low-profile gas block are necessary when extending your free-float handguard past your barrels gas port. LT Gas Blocks are lightweight, strong and small enough to use with almost any handguard. They mount using two set screws located at the bottom, so gun-smithing will be needed on barrels without divots.

Comes complete with mounting hardware, necessary tools and a vial of red Locktite

I installed this gas block on my barrel so I could extend my handguard passed normal carbine length. The fit and quality of this gas block is awesome. Everything went just as it should with the install, no problems at all. Since this block is the set screw type be sure to use the red lock tight and you'll have no problems. Will use this gas block again in my next build.

I have built dozens of uppers configured with low-profile gas blocks under free-float rail systems. I always use & recommend the LaRue Tactical Low-Profile gas block. It locks onto the barrel securely via the two set-scews, and it extended sleeve covers up those less than "purdy" taper pin holes & un-parkerized rings on the barrel left behind after remocing the standard fixed FSB. Good stuff. I have installed/used both sizes (.625/.750) on my duty rifles, and they are definately good-to-go!
