Magpul PMAG 30 rnd Standard

The PMAG™ (Polymer MAGazine) is a lightweight 5.56 NATO, M-16 compatible magazine. It features an advanced impact resistant polymer construction, a pop-off Impact Cover for storage, and an easy to dissasemble design with a flared floorplate for easy magazine extraction from pouches. PMAG™ utilizes a resilient stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance.

Magpul's latest revision has been updated with a new body ribbing design which allows for better compatibility with aftermarket mag couplers, a new follower which provides even smoother loading with military stripper clips, and the Impact Cover can now be snapped onto the Floorplate when not in use to prevent possible loss.

I have been trying for years in training classes and practice sessions to destroy a PMAG; can't do it. I rotate through several dozen of them annually and not one malfunction can be traced to any PMAG. They have worked continually for years without issue. In MHO, they are the best out there, period. Others may match them but at higher cost and from what I have seen in classes and aggressive range work none will beat them. Press on, gentlemen!

Nearly perfect AR Mag June 30, 2011

It's hard to pick knits with regard to something that is knitless. These mags are great. Sturdy. Reliable. Quiet.

Sturdy: these mags can take so much abuse and keep going. Drops. Being thrown. Run over. Shot. They are like the Mike Myers or Jason Vorhees of mags. (horror movie reference)

Reliable: Work great. They always drop free from my custom bulit AR. Easy to disassemble and maintain. Lip protectors/dust covers are a nice plus.

Quiet: compared to the annoying spring rattle from metal GI mags, these are nearly silent.

Overall: I'm very satisfied. I bought six. Will likely buy more in the future. I seldom give 5 stars for anything, for these I'd consider giving six stars if it were an option.
