The Maxpedition Sitka Gearslinger is the best multi-use backpack I have ever used. Its lightweight, durable, and has space for the essentials. While taking short hikes I am able to stow a IFAK, knife, MRE, firestarter, signalling devices, cell phone, Glock 17 with 2 mags and extra socks. Properly positioned it is very comfortable and doesnt get in the way.
In the city I stow snacks, EDC items, water bottles and reading material. It doesnt stick out too bad in khaki color and looks way better than a fanny pack...lol
Anyway you cant go wrong with this pack, wheteher your a hiker, city dweller, or undecover ninja this pack has the space and comfortability you need to take your arsenal with you. I highly recommend this pack.
