Very nice relateively minimalist plate carrier at a very good price. Does NOT come with the insert for magazine pouches, but those can be bought separately. Shoulder straps are a little wide and can chafe a little but not too big of a problem.

Excellent piece of kit...simple, fantastic construction, great fit. I got it in the maill; set it up and fitted it perfectly in about 5min. I was out the door with it that night and found it to be an excellent choice. If you run a stand alone chest rig this is an outstanding option and it has the clips you can connect your kit directly to the vest if you desire or just use the MOLLE. The cummerbund is maybe the best piece...WAY better than other cummerbunds I've used on plate carriers in terms of comfort, ease of adjustment, and actually distributing the load of the vest across your body.

Good build quality (as you'd expect). The plate pocket on the S/M will fit large SAPI with backers, certainly the Velocity ones I use. However this is a close fit with the bottom edge corners exposed. I think with a bit of use this can be tightened up. Worn slick the carrier has a minimal profile under a large jacket. The built in admin and kangaroo pockets are a useful size without being excesive. Fitting a blue force gear triple accross the front of the cummerbund works well. You can then add a small chest rig with an alternate layout to the front without increasing the bulk.

Great plate carrier

After getting fed up with TAG's deceitful holiday sale I took my business to SKD, got what I wanted fast. This plate carrier I will be using as part of my warrant set up. When I order gear I usually "need" the gear. I don't have time for a company to get its head out of its ass. My mayflower plate carrier is great, perfect fit and color. I just wish the SKD web site Would link the plate backers to the carrier so I know what size fits. I will bring my money to SKD. Carriers color matches perfect with my ATS pouch and my old DBT pouches.
