Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier (APC)

The Assault Plate Carrier (APC) is designed to provide the wearer with a high degree of mobility while providing ample surface area for mounting mission essential pouches. The upper front of the APC contains an integral admin pouch with internal elastic loops to retain pens, pencils, chemlites or similar items. The front lower half of the APC has an integrated pouch sized to hold up to three M4 sized magazines.

The shoulder pads are 3D mesh for comfort and feature a Velcro routing channel for cable and drinking tubes. The APC is supplied with our standard PALS compatible cummerbund designed to accept side soft armor. The APC is also compatible with our suite of modular cummerbund.

The APC is available in two sizes; S/M and L/XL with three cummerbund options. The S/M is available with either a small or medium cummerbund; the L/XL is available with either a medium or large cummerbund. (Currently only available with medium cummerbunds. Small and Large are due in 4-8 weeks). The plate pockets are sized to accommodate stand alone or in-conjunction with BALCs/ESAPI or Swimmer cut plates. The S/M APC will fit small, medium and 10"x12" sized plates. The L/XL APC will fit large and extra-large plates. Reference the APC sizing chart below for correct fitting.

All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.

I have been looking for a plate carrier that would fit me for about 8 months. I run into problems because I am a small female, so everything is big on me. There was the option of having one custom made, but that runs around $1,000 which is money I do not have.
I came across the Mayflower APC and read numerous good things about it, especially from smaller females. I saw you can order a different size carrier and cumberbund, which is perfect because a lot of the carriers fit, but the cumberbunds were always too big which made the carrier floppy. So I ordered a small carrier with a small cumberbund. And it fits perfectly! It came in the mail with in a few days of placing the order. When I need something in the future, I know where I'll be coming back. Thank you!

The PC is very clearly well built. I have used it a few times at the range and it is more than comfortable. I am curious how well the rear plate pocket holds up, at its Velcro closure is not nearly as robust as the fronts.

I do really like the built in admin pocket behind the chest molle.

The stock shoulder pads are too wide and dig into my neck. It seems to me they are built inexpensively on purpose because most end users replace them.

Overall, I really like this plate carrier.  Bought it to replace my TAG Banshee.  My main complaint with the Banshee was that the shoulder pads got in the way too much.  They were great for hanging comms and hydration tubes but ass for trying to shoulder a rifle butt around.

Heard some good stuff about the Mayflower APC and decided to give it a try.  Without the 3D mesh shoulder pads, shouldering a rifle is great.  With them....well I'm thinking of getting the HSGI pads.  The APC pads are uncomfortable and get in the way.
The plate adjustment is nice as is the 2 part cummerbund.  The 500D is lightweight.  I don't use the quick clip system but it is nice to have as well.

This is great.  Without plates this is so comfortable I could wear it around the house.  With plates you still have a great range of motion but depending on what plates you get it certainly can weigh the vest down.  Great fit, color, and function.

Very comfortable plate carrier, the shoulder pads were the only part that was replaced by First Spear shoulder pads.  Integrated admin pouch is great, the only thing I would add to this would be a drag handle.
