Mayflower Triple 556 Magazine Insert

The Triple 5.56 Magazine Insert is designed to be used in-conjunction with the Mayflower Assault Plate Carrier (APC) in either the front kangaroo pouch or as an insert into the various models of cumberbunds. It is designed to hold three 5.56 or similar sized magazines with an adjustable shock cord retention system. All materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.

The magazine insert fit into the front kangaroo pouch on my carrier as designed.  It easily adjusted by moving the knot on the shock chord.  The only thing that seems like it could be improved somehow is the
knot keeps some of the velcro from fastening because it is located between the hook and loop surfaces.

Overall, the mag insert is a great item for those wanting to maintain a low profile and convenient method of holding three AR mags. The elastic retention straps are easy to adjust (just retie the knots). This insert allows for you to keep the MOLLE real estate on the front of the PC as well.

Really simple piece of gear. It does what it's supposed to. Only weird thing was that the elastic loops seemed really long, so I just tied them off shorter.
