Mayflower UW Chest Rig Gen IV

The UW Chest Rig Gen IV is a low-profile mission focused vest built to be ambidextrous and designed to carry the following: 4 ea 5.56mm magazines, 2 pistol magazines, up to 2 small radios (PRC-152/MBITR) as well as two GP pockets. The H style harness is removable via 4 one inch ITW-Nexus side release buckles and designed to be mounted to the front of the Low-Profile Armor Carrier. Elastic is provided for cable management and antenna relocation.

All buckles are ITW-Nexus IR and all materials and workmanship are 100% made in the USA.

The UW Chest Rig Gen IV is available in the following colors:
  • Coyote Brown: 500D solution dyed
  • Ranger Green: 500D solution dyed
  • Crye Multicam hybrid: 330D & 500D
  • Black: 500D

This is the second time I've had this rig.  It has a no frills design and a very practical layout.  This thing is BOMB proof and lightweight to boot!  I cannot say enough about Mayflowers products.  Love this rig.

I love this rig!

Compared to a previous EAGLE Chest rig I had, this one seems to have elegantly addressed some of the issues I'd previously encountered.

If I carried 6 M4 Mags on the Eagle Rig I felt overloaded, and awkward. With the Mayflower, even with every pouch filled, I never felt that sense of overloading. My back and shoulders are thankful.

The layout and sizing of the Mayflower rig's pouches keep everything I need in a logical place, without tempting me to overload the rig with extraneous crap.

The materials used are light and sturdy. Construction shows real attention to detail and some quality work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

I have a couple of plate carriers that I wanted to be able to mount this rig on - none of them are Mayflower PCs. I purchased a Swiftclip kit, and a Down Range Gear QASM Vertical Connector. I get a perfect mounting of this solution on ANY of my PCs.

An outstanding piece of kit. The Gen IV is one of the most functional and well thought out chest rigs. Often the temptation is to overload, but the Gen IV ensures the balance is there when fully loaded.

This is now my third rig (also use the coyote and multicam,) and when using with the Low Profile Armor carrier, with the swift clip system, it is even better.

I would recommend!

This rig is just what I was looking for. It's light weight, has plenty of pouches to handle the items you need and nothing more. Mayflower hit a home run with this and SKD got it to me in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. All in all, I'm a satisfied customer.
