I needed this adaptor for my new AR15 because the upper did not have a QD intergrated in the railing system. Its sturdy, strong, and only turns 90 degrees each way so you dont have your sling all twisted around when on the move.  MI makes only quality stuff and SKD helped me get it for a great price...!
