The PIG BRIG Soft Armor Backer Sleeve allows the PIG Plate Carrier Soft Armor Backer to be worn underneath the PIG BRIG plate pocket by utilizing the hook and loop fastener interface normally used for AFC Pontoons. This effectively provides you with soft armor capability that is necessary for some In-Conjunction With (ICW) plates to meet their maximum ballistic protection rating. Once the BRIG Soft Armor Backer is attached to the PIG BRIG, they will not shift when worn, as compression via the shoulder straps and cummerbund will hold the BRIG Soft Armor Backers against your body, making it impossible to disengage the hook and loop.
