PIG Molle Side Plate Carrier (MSPC)

The MSPC (Molle Side Plate Carrier) is the most versatile side plate carriage option available today, allowing for all three common side plate sizes (6"x6", 6"x8", 7"x8") with or without soft armor backers.

The fold-over wings secure the plate left-right-top-bottom for a custom fit while keeping bulk to an absolute minimum due to the thinness of Onewrap (6"x6" plates require the accessory strap kit). The modular Malice Clip interface allows for the widest range of placement with either short or long Malice clips (sold separately). The front Molle flap securely locks the wings in place and features elastic along the top edge to allow for the additional width of a soft armor backer. Being a surface mounted Side Plate application, the MSPC will always keep the plate where it belongs- in front of soft armor where applicable.

7"x8" ESAPI Plates April 21, 2012

I got 7x8 ESAPI side plates from Ceradyne and also have some soft armor backing which is also about 7x8 (a tad bit larger) and the corners of the soft armor pop out of the PIG Molle Side Plate Carrier Set. Worked some magic to not make it look as ugly. Overall good product. Compliments my Condor Modular Operator Plate Carrier nicely.

A must for side SAPI users. January 7, 2012

If you have to wear side SAPI, this is an excellent addition to the vest. Would have been 5 stars, but just not a fan of MALICE clips, though they do make these a bit more versitile.

I ordered a custom soft armor/plate carrier and needed a mounting solution for my large ESAPI 7x8 side plates. Jeff at BCS told me to check out these PIG side carriers offered by SKD and I ordered them. WOW! They work GREAT! They gave me an option to add a pair if malice clips for mounting. This is the HIT setup. I can run these externally and use the MOLLE straps on the PIGs to have more real estate,or internally mount em to the straps on the inside. These carriers with the malice clips gives me almost any mounting option u can run,and the carriers themselves are Tuff,sturdy and easy to use. SKD had these at my door in TWO DAYS! I will def. Be comings back to SKD for everything else I need in the future. No BS..all business..thanks guys!
